GOD EXTENDS HIS HANDS TO THE MOST VULNERABLE

Heavenly Bridge Ministries strives to make a difference in the lives of Africa’s most vulnerable children, women, and marginalized groups through supporting, equipping, and training them in skills that apply to their daily lives while keeping in mind that education is key to long term change in Uganda and in Africa as a whole.  They are offering hope for today and tomorrow's generation.

Founded by Pastor S. A. Moses, Heavenly Bridge Ministries strongly believes that Jesus Christ is the only bridge between God and man and that we should share that with the suffering world.

In the Old Testament, David’s brother, Eliab, tried to stop David from confronting the giant, Goliath.  In response David said to Eliab, "Is there not a cause?" (1 Sam. 17:29)

Heavenly Bridge Ministries believes there is a cause of concern today when we see:

• Families going without food.
• Gifted students unable to go to school because of lacking means.
• Children raising babies when both or one of the parents has died from AIDS.
• Young girls caught in the sex slave trade of the 21st century.
• Young boys in war zones as child soldiers.
• The list goes on and on.

Heavenly Bridge Ministries quickly recognized that education is the key to long term change in Uganda and Africa. Thanks to you, the friends and partners of Heavenly Bridge Ministries, more children are being provided with quality education they would have otherwise gone without. Also, their families and hundreds of people in their communities are receiving help in the form of food, medical assistance, and the Word of God.

With this in mind, Heavenly Bridge Ministries utilizes the concept that if you teach a man to fish, he will never go hungry. This ministry has put in place programs that provide children with both the Word of God and the skills they need to support themselves and others in the future.

This ministry reaches out to orphans and to misfortuned children, those who have lost their family members due to HIV/AIDS, children who have suffered the traumas of war, and children who come from needy homes.  In this way, Heavenly Bridge Ministries is giving them a hand with which to combat and is raising strong leaders for tomorrow’s generation. 

Pastor Moses graduated from Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.  Bishop Gabe, the moderator of this blog, has personally known Pastor Moses for more than ten years.  He knows him to be a man of integrity.  He possesses a real passion to enlarge the Kingdom of God and is a nation shaker.

Update:  Pastor Moses will be preaching in the 10 o'clock service on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at The Revival Center in Paso Robles, California.
